What game are you playing on a Nintendo console at the moment?

Steamworld Dig 2 is a really good Super Metroid but with digging style game that I'm playing now because it was on sale. Highly addictive too as you get a bit deeper in the mines every time you venture down, it's even got me away from Stardew Valley for a while.

I always thought WRECKING CREW sounded amazing when I was a child (never played it, probably crap.)

I'm playing Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King a really fun Link to the Past clone!

I really wish I had a kid so I could play the cardboard robot suit thing.

They should put a steamroller as an unlockable kart in the next Mario Kart.

And a new Daisy Cruiser track that contains a detention camp below decks.

Should I play Celeste? Bear in mind that I gave up on Shovel Knight because it's too fucking hard...

Celeste is incredibly good. It's harder than Shovel Knight. It has p nice adjustable difficulty but idk how you'd feel about using that.

It just seems like all these pixel art games are so hard that you have memorise every pixel or you die all the time and it just stops being fun for me (I did enjoy Shovel Knight a lot up until a certain point.)

I mean that's why they're fun, yes. You get presented with a micro-challenge that you have to perfectly execute to move on from.

Shovel Knight is not one of those perfect-execution challenge games, by a long-shot though! Shovel Knight is downright forgiving compared to Meat Boy/1001 Spikes/Celeste.
