The book is getting longer, and more importantly, the book is getting better. I've changed my mind about some of the things I said in earlier updates and on my Live Journal, and I reserve the right to change my mind again, though I am hoping I won't have to. Yes.. I just read something that hints she might make him her Hand. Also I was reading about the POVs in Dance with Dragons, and it doesn't look like Brienne or Jaime will have their own chapters.

I find it odd that according to grrm that Feast For Crows was basically the first "half" of
what he originally intended for book four, and that he had to split that stuff out from
everything he had already written - which presupposes that parts of book 5 was at least
partially written at the time of the release of Feast For Crows.

And at the end of Feast for Crows it says it'll be out "next year". "Next year" was like 2006. He must have completely rewritten it and inserted a fun-loving cyborg as a new character or something.
