O'Neil was the centre of the show - it just wasn't the same.

Well, it's still a good show. But you're right, it's not the same without O'Neill in there somewhere. Shit, they could'a just not replaced him as General.

What's strange is that I LOVE sci-fi books and movies, but for some reason, the only sci-fi TV shows I have ever gotten into are TOS and TNG. Am I alone in this?

It really doesn't make sense to me.

Also I think Galaxy Quest was underrated, I can totally relate to "Guy." I think I am the red-shirted ensign of TK.
