Ya ever get into a situation where a friend of yours gets into a relationship, and the hairs stand up on the back of your neck and all the bad vibes start going off and you know it's a mistake that will end badly but you can't say anything about it because if you do they'll get defensive and cut you off and continue to make the mistake even harder out of pride or defiance?

Yeah, that's my day so far. Fucking hell.

A splash of vodka in your lemonade is surprisingly disappointing. It doesn't taste like a cocktail but it has just enough taste to make you wonder why your lemonade tastes funny. I wonder if I should've just mixed a full shot like a tart screwdriver.

Well at least one good thing has happened today. Or maybe I should say at least one bad thing hasn't happened. I saw all 3 goldfish at the afternoon feeding. As they've grown, they've gotten friendlier and friendlier. Then suddenly, a few days ago, they got very skittish and would barely come up for food. This morning they wouldn't come up at all and I could only see 2 of them. I was starting to worry that a raccoon or something got one of them (and was after the others). I'm hoping it's just that their pond is under a chestnut tree and the falling nuts have them spooked.
