Where is the Random Thread of Randomness stuff that doesn't belong in other threads thread?

Normally I would say Zuckerberg can suck my dick, but I don't want that cretinous ghoul anywhere near my junk.

Why are so many embedded things not allowed to be displayed in Firefox now? Eggs post from instagram has the message to protect my security instagram will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it.
That might be default now. I've blocked everything Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and the rest of that ilk manually unless I choose to allow it through. I love the granularity options there.

Gran Torino is such a freakin' awesome movie. Everything in Clint Eastwood's career built up for the ending of it. I can't count the number of movies where he's the reckoning/retribution/force of vengeance at the end, and he still is in Gran Torino, but he tilts it on its head and does it in a way you didn't expect. It was at least as good the second time because things like the horoscope mean something more when you know how the movie ends.

I just watched the Popcorn In Bed react and it's funny, watching a girl watch the dialog between guys, because she doesn't understand the busting balls interaction and it makes it so much better. Yes, guys that know each other act that way to each other.

On a totally unrelated note, if a 1972 Gran Torino Sport fell in my lap there's a very good chance I'd use it to build a Main Force Patrol Pursuit Special. But after re-rewatching this movie, if it was remotely restorable, I'd do a faithful restore.

And on a completely-completely unrelated note, I kind of want any 1987 Buick Regal to do up as a GNX (because I don't think I could afford a GNX even if I could find one).

Today the instagram that Eggs posted is not giving me the security warning.

9 years of living in Kentucky has rewired my brain so that when the newscaster starts talking about the UK I know it is the University of Kentucky. So it was odd to listen to the local news when King Charles visited because my brain had to change gears and go "Oh wait, they're actually talking about the United Kingdom."

Think about it.

Today I was out for a walk and needed to tell someone when I was available. I work from home so my hours are flexible--except the first weekday of the month. So I whipped out the calendar on my phone to see what the first weekday in June is. But apparently it can't tell me that unless I give it access to: My Google Calendar, my contact list, and all files and photos on my phone.

Taking a pic of a light saber to sell, accidentally opened a Dr Strange portal.

COME BACK WANDA BILLY AND TOMMY ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!

I sort of want to watch something meloncholy but not depressing
just like scenes where people are remembering those that have passed, fond memories, ones that make them smile, not break down in tears
and its sort of just like watching the leaves fall from trees or the birds fly around in spring

You know how you watch low budget or Sundance films where there isn't really any music and its just 1 boring person in their apartment but its not like those new fangled Tik Tok videos we watch nowadays where someone is recording themselves walk through the door and we watch them make dinner or clean their tiny apartment.

Those types of movies used to bother me and were usually pretty depressing, but now I think it is okay and I wouldn't mind watching a movie like that. I mean I could just watch myself. I could just sit in the still presence of my apartment listening to the hum of the refrigerator and watching the birds fly around outside.

Maybe that is what I will do.

I did just get done reading a steamy lesbian romance novel. That was fun.
