For some, the '90s seem like yesterday, with the same needs and wants as today. But compared to modern times, people did some bizarre things in that decade.
do you ever put salt on your dinner then forget you've done it right away and sit there staring at the food thinking "did I put salt on this" and you look closely but you cna't see the salt but the salt is really small and you're getting older and your eyesight isnt' as good now and you end up putting salt on it again because you've sure there's no salt but then you taste it and think "DOUBLE SALT" and you realise you could have just tasted it the first time and avoided a potential double salt situation
Lately, instead of things being in the last place I look, they're increasingly in the first place I looked, but I didn't look closely enough so, after looking everyplace else, I go "it has to be there," go back, and find it. :/
I had a wild moment of angst in the supermarket parking lot today. Loading my groceries into the car and thinking about if I got everything right, what I should do next and things like that and realizing I can do anything I want and there's no one to tell me not to or that it's a mistake. AAAAAHHHHHHHHG! WHO PUT ME IN CHARGE!? I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING." I mean, rationally, I realize I'm as qualified as anyone--probably more--but once in awhile it seems like it would be nice to have someone to tell you what to do.
Heh. I just realized there was one girl and three guys in the Artemis crew. Because on a trip to the Moon, you want to make sure the capsule is "airtight."
The human body can survive indefinitely on Bloody Marys and shrimp cocktails. They provide all the key nutrients, vitamins, and minerals a growing boy needs.
