I'm starting to suspect M$ got annoyed that I play solitaire offline and thus avoid all the ads and other annoyances and rigged the game the last time I had to "Get the latest updates!" Because I had a win rate right around 21% and now, with 1500 or so games, it's down around 21.3%. I used to win about every 5th game. Now I'm lucky if I win a game every 5 days. And it isn't like I suddenly became a shitty card player. It's that I suddenly get nothing but shitty cards. Even on the rare occasion that I figure out how to manipulate the deck to get the cards I need, I still get fucked on the turns: "Congratulations! You finally got a place to put a king and got to that red king so you could move that black queen. Let's see what's under it. The other black queen! Have fun trying to do something with that, you stupid fuck."

And I know it isn't me, because I still win about the same playing with actual cards--even when I get some fucked-up deal like all black cards or something.

I use MobilityWare Solitaire on my iPhone/iPads. it's cheap and you can opt not to sign into Apple Games to avoid their version of MS soul crushing...

Sometimes I wish someone would buy a twenty year old toy and just be happy with the toy, not bitch that the plastic it came in is now yellow and brittle.

I'm sorry the plastic that was designed to hold the toy for a year until someone bought it aged because it was never to exist for that long.

I was just watching an early episode of "Leave it to Beaver" in which the boys are rummaging through Ward's old WWII trunk of memorabilia and there are a handful of old pictures of June stuck to the interior lid of the thing. Ward catches the boys going through his stuff and sends them off to eat supper, and then June comes in and sees the pictures and asks, "Oh, Ward, did I ever look like that?"

Ward replies: "Yeah... but I overlooked it and married you anyway."
