James Cameron thinks that watching a 3 hour movie in the cinema is the exact same thing as bingeing 8 hours of tv at home, as if people just sit for 8 hours straight without pausing what they're watching to pee, eat, etc.

Before...say..."Dances With Wolves", it wasn't uncommon for a long movie to have an intermission in the middle. The most noteworthy one I can think of is 1977's(?) "A Bridge Too Far."

I wish Star Trek VI had been up to par with the rest of the Star Trek trilogy as far as production. The costumes were wonky, Valeris would've been much more powerful as Saavik, and I suspect earlier versions of the script had some neat stuff that got dropped off in favor of a "happily ever after" ending.

II, III, IV, VI, and First Contact is my official Star Trek film canon. Oh, and "...Beyond" was nice. The only worthwhile AbramsTrek film, IMO.

That scene in The Expanse, probably season 2, where Maneo is trying to slingshot himself about the solar system and through the ring gate to Deep Purple, that's a bonified classic. No spoilers for those who haven't seen it.
