uh oh, Is Trekbbs falling into the #2 position of net's favorite StarTrek board ?

Oh, well. If T'Bonz decides to ban me for having 2 accounts, I'll live with it. It's not like I'll whine and cry over it for the next 7 years.......

I can't get to the userlist right now to check on it (we just moved to the new board and it's not even open to anyone but the mods.) so I'm not sure if his first account was locked. It probably was, but as it was some time ago, I don't know off the top of my head.

But to my knowledge, he did a account change. He stopped using one account and began all over again with a new one. He never used the one account again to my knowledge and had he, I would have known immediately. That is not uncommon, if it's done with my knowledge (the new account), the primary gets locked. It's the equivalent of a quiet name change. Usually people who do that do it because they want a new start for some reason, and they let me know and I decide if it's valid or not (as opposed to just changing the name and having that posted.) I know of several people who did that, started over, including some TKers. ;) With my knowledge. No dual, merely started over, with no rank or nothing and with the original name locked.

If it's done without my knowledge (some people don't know about name changes), then I lock one or the other.

No favoritism. No sneaky stuff or special stuff. So you may stand down your red alert. ;)

Sarek has never asked me for special favors. I never asked him for any at the one board where he owned the board. I've never even asked him for any good stuff from this board since (I think!) he's still on staff. That goes against my personal code and undoubtably against his.

So Lorne, you'll have to try again. ;) And VKD, what's your major malfunction? Do be a good lad and bugger off. ;)
 
VKD's goat ran away and Para refused to act as a substitute unless he could pitch. So they're both kind of cranky right now. ;)
 
I have three accounts at tbbs, one main, two duals - and unlike sarek, I have had NO favoritsm from Bonzzz....
 
What's the point of having duals at TBBS?

Having duals here is cool because you can play with them a bit. At TBBS, trolling is so contained there's no fun in it (if that is your idea of fun). Step over the line once, and you're out.

Unless you're in TNZ. That's a different story, I heard.

Meh. Whatever.

As for people changing, some of us do move on, and are even embarrassed by our actions of the past. Living off your past internet exploits, Para, is just sad. Unless you're trolling, but then it is still sad.

Oh, I don't know. Because of him, I'll never be able to live down my short tenure as TBBS admin. ;)

Problem is, he rabbits on and on about his shit and most of the people who even KNOW to what he is referring are long gone. The n00bs here, who are in the majority are saying, "WTF and who cares?"

He's just sad. Always was, but he's sadder than he ever was and that was pretty bad.

Actually, I stopped using my Sarek account at Trek because of my association with TK and the fact that my "exploits" here gave me a somewhat questionable reputation there. So I made a second account and started over with it. But it's still fun to pull out the "legendary" Sarek once in a while for some fun.

But regardless of the number of accounts I may or may not have, I've never used it or my alt account to disrupt the site, troll, annoy people or pester the staff with endless whining.

And I think THAT'S what Para has the biggest problem with. Someone can actually have a dual and not feel the need to make an ass out of themselves. Something he can't avoid doing regardless of the situation.

Well since 90 percent of all noobs are duals, who can really say what a majority is around here ?

And TBonz I thought you would have known by now - I'm here to entertain myself not others.

I just thought it was funny that you were stupid enough to admit to having them right it front of TBonz.

Kind of like going up to a cop and asking him if he has any papers you can roll your weed in.

And I STILL think its funny that you can't seem to grasp the fact that having a dual is against Trekbbs policy regardless of your intentions.

Oh well.
