A couple of more things I liked:

How Sookie stood up for herself with Sam. She's right about how he didn't ask her until a vampire showed interest in her. He got a little rough with her. The alpha man coming out in him.

Poor Tara. Jason finally shows interest in her, and it's because he's high as a kite. I laughed my ass off when he opened his arms and said "join us" while he was screwing that girl outside. Next week he chokes his own sister!!

Everyone hurry up and watch it. :)

Yeah, that was surprising! I thought her gran would be around longer. I'm beginning to think Sam is a murderer.

even though I'm bummed about Gran, and Bill's recollections of being forced into vampirism were sad, and Sookie is an idiot to dump him, I loved the scenes where Lafayette rumbled the rednecks, [TIP YOUR WAITRESS!] and where Jason was reacting to everything under the influence of V.

First ep he wasn't annoying as heck but was actually quite funny.

LoL...Yeah, Cassie. Read the books so you too can know what's going on. Of course, I guess that's cool too, not knowing what's going on.

If I remember right, someone grabs Sookie in the previews when she goes for Gran's body. Wonder who that is, though.
 
I like Jason, and if he was real and I knew him, I'd probably do it with him too. I've always had a soft spot for cute idiots with big dicks, lol.

I loved the part when Lafayette kicked those redneck's asses!

But yeah, I'd do him too. Just so I could watch those corded muscles of his while he was banging the shit out of me.
 
I'm about ready to drop this show, seems like it's more "for girls" or southerners or people who aren't me. Only good part was the flashback to Bill being vamped, though it only served to remind me of the superior flashbacks on Angel.

that was the only part you liked? alas, this does sound like True Blood's not your cup of tea. :(

My cousin from San Francisco is a film editor and he says the editing for True Blood is [paraphrased]excellent, and made his editor's heart glad.
he rarely compliments things like that (and since I'm not a professional film editor I wouldn't know); quite the opposite in fact, but it made me pleased he even made a point of writing that.

I may not be from the South but the themes of being an outsider, prejudice, friendship, loneliness, loyalty, murder, deceit, and unrequited love are not confined soley to that region.
 
Awww, Wacky....sorry it's not heating your blood. You might like the books, though.
