Things you love about Star Trek

I find it extremely difficult to believe that Brent Spiner's actual ass is that fine, so who do we supposed stuck their butt in plaster to make the mold? It wasn't Roddenberry or Maizlish, presumably.
Oh, this twink, I bet...

Ah yes. Trent. One of the best things in one of the worst episodes of all time.

Neat.

Did they ever actually release this, or the Shuttle? I'm a toy collecting loser but having been born on the nose in '87 I was young enough to have missed the Galoob era of merch.

I have most of the Galoob STNG figures. None of the vehicles. :(

I used to have several sets of the Star Trek Micro Machine Ships - one of which was a Ferengi Marauder.

The only one I have left is the Borg Cube; fuck knows what happened to the rest of them.

Now if I want to play space battles I have to settle for my vape stick and TV remote. :(

I have several of the Star Trek Micro Machines. Not sure if I have a Ferengi Maurader. Have 2 Borg cubes, several Federation, Klingon and Romulan ships.

Martok best Klingon?

Ahh, I had Worf. Even as a kid I thought the Playmates figures were better, I was lucky to have a bunch of those. The MicroMachines ships were cool as hell, I still have that first set boxed up from the 90s. They even made Babylon 5 sets!
The real bread and butter were the ships and the roleplay toys like the phasers and whatnot, I would have been even more bored as a kid without that shit.

I have the TNG phaser, Bajoran phaser, Klingon disruptor, TNG tricorder.

The Galoob figures were smaller and less possible but I prefer them to the bigger more poseable Playmates. Wish Galoob had made a Deanna Troi. The Playmates Deanna Troi I have seems so weird next to the Galoob. The Borg Playmates figure is nice though.

I have a huge memory hole about there being Galoob TNG toys. If you asked me, I'd say "Playmates." I think it might be because that was my freshman year in college so I didn't have any money or time for toys. I remember the days of figuring out how many plasma donations I needed to be able to afford "The Dark Knight Returns" or "Watchmen". There's a diary entry when I lost $5 and that ruined my whole weekend (in those days one of the local bars had 25 cent tap beer). Also, I was kind of in that sweet spot where I was too old to play with toys but too young to collect them. I gotta say, though, googling them, the Galoob action figures look a lot cooler than the Playmates ones.

Sound advise.

"Remember when we used to make these things look like they were masturbating?"

Happy 95th birthday to William Shatner. Nobody else in the enteire world could have done this...well, they could have done it, but it would have just been lame rather than lame AND COOL at the same time like this.

My favorite Bill Shatner thing (not counting Captain Kirk) was the movie Free Enterprise where he played an over-the-top version of himself. Yeah Shatner is already over-the-top, imagine an over-the-top version of that. Oh what's that? A musical version of Julius Caesar where he plays all the parts?
