What kind of music does your band play?
 
"YOUR BAND HAS HOW MANY PEOPLE IN IT!? THREE??!?! COOL!!!"
 
We go the range from sleepy/dreamy to rockin'... We play drums, bass, guitar, vibes, sequencers, samplers, and laptop sounds.

We've only been playing since last summer, so it's a real young and raw sound.
 
"YOU GUYS SURE MUST HAVE LOVED THAT TOOL ALBUM, LATERALUS, HUH?!?!"

all quotes (actually said) were shouted above the PA, obviously.
 
I didn't say this, but I overheard it.

"I was going to pick up the double bass, but the only one I could find to buy was a left handed one..."

"So you guys should really go hit on girls with big breasts while we move our gear, we'll all be better off for it..."

Aha, yes, but with a bit of elbow grease you could restring it yourself couldn't you? Aha, gotchoo there, didn't I? See what I did there?

Point being there are waaay many more people that want to be in bands than there are talented people actually in bands. Here, that is.

Apparently that's this town's M.O. Although a huge music festival is not a good litmus test for how much you like a town. I have a feeling you could really love it here, as a native.
