Star Trek Picard season 2

This is goodish news, but I can't help but feel sorry for the rest of the Picard crew who now get pushed aside for all the pensioners.

It's California. The state government thinks the possibility of releasing violent criminals into the community to rob, rape, or kill citizens -- or, at minimum, contribute to wage contraction, labor displacement, and infrastructure depletion -- is Just Fuckin' Dandy. And that's the state government position; writers, actors, and other film/television industry muppets, being financially insulated against those latter effects, obviously think it's positively heroic. Because Fuck You, They've Got Theirs.
 
So I made popcorn and watched the first episode of season two. We had watched almost all of season 1 already as it turned out.

Great stuff including the return of Guinan.

I have heartburn from too much popcorn though :D
 
Its interesting that of all the streaming services that one has the most glitches and pauses.
 
Worf must be shown in a full frontal nude shot with his single, glorious Klingon appendage.

TNG crew reunited. There's a crisis, obviously. They're chatting away as they do ...

Raffi interjects: "JL, don't you think we could have a conversation about the fate of the galaxy without your damned ego getting in the way?"

Worf: "petaQ!" <kills Raffi>

Picard: "Thank you Mr Worf."
