We now have an answer to some of those questions, as Paramount has tapped John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein to write and direct a new Trek movie that is said to be unconnected from anything previously done. (So, no Pine crew.)

So are they going to recast Kirk/Spock/etc AGAIN or actually invent some new fucking characters for a change?
