How come sometimes she's called Bai Ling and sometimes Ling Bai?
 
Depends wether she is coming or going.

I think there was no point other than giving the girls and gays an episode where Mathew Fox has his shirt off a lot.

To be fair, there was little point in the episode where Kate and Juliet were handcuffed together, other than to see them mud wrestle each other.
 
In season 5 they do it again, but this time in jelly
 
I really hate Bai Ling and her goddamn man voice.
 
I'd blocked the episode from my mind up until this point.

I've no idea who Bai Ling is.
 
She was the tattoist in that episode, she was also in SW:ROTS, but then had her part cut because she appeared in playboy, or if you beleive Lucas, that the film was too long.

Oh.. I just read the Lostpedia article about the episode (Stranger in a Strange Land). I forgot that that was the one where Cindy and some of the other survivors told Jack that they were observing or something... don't know what the hell they were observing though. Plus it's the one where they put Juliet on trial and brand her with something WHICH IS NEVER MENTIONED AGAIN THE BASTARDS.
 
Actually, since all of the Rebellion scenese were cut, I'm pretty sure it had nothing to do with Playboy.

Yes the "IF YOU'VE GOT SOMETHING TO WATCH...GO WATCH IT!" and Juilet's branding scenes were apparently completely pointless too. Maybe the episod was all a dream Jack had.
