Indeed. However, Marvel is making a revival attempt with the Ultimate Avengers DVD out later this month. Its their first full length animated movie. Thus far, DC has cornered the market with DVD feature length releases.

I've been reading comics since 1987 and I'm a third generation comic book fan.

My grandfather had the original Superman comics as well as Joe Palooka and other stuff.

I tried piecing them back together but the damn mice got them good.
