I want to smell dark matter
Weird finale. The whole season has felt like the episodes have been too short, but this felt too long if anything. So many montages set to music, honestly it ended up feeling a bit self indulgent like Gunn was just trying to get in a load of songs he liked. It had good scenes and good acting but didn't feel like a full story? Like it was setting up the next thing more than resolving this season's story. I hope Gunn isn't falling into the same trap as the MCU where everything just feels kind of incomplete.
Flag going evil felt really jarring, like it all just happened in one montage where he's suddenly laughing with Lex's henchmen (who are allowed to do coke openly?) He was incompetent in Creature Commandos, but he was still a good guy trying to save the world and had no problem working with super-powered individuals. And now he's totally racist against metas and wants to lock them all up?
The hot cyborg woman turning out to be good should have been set up more too. She seemed pretty evil until now!
