Yes, really. When I first started playing Wii Bowling(at my nephew's house, I don't own one yet) I almost threw the controller at the TV screen.

OMG I've been using the wrist strap faithfully! I've never almost lost control of the controller except once when I was trying to bowl bombs and I whacked the chair. I BLEW SOME SHIT UP.

I use the wrist strap all the time. It makes sense given the movements one needs to make with the missile-shaped controller.
