Rams' Donald, Packers' Alexander first two NFC Pro Bowl members
The NFL announced the first two members Monday night of the 2023 NFC Pro Bowl Games team: Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald and Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander. The announcement was made in conjunction with the Rams and Packers playing on Monday Night Football at Lambeau Field. The remainder of the NFC team, and the entire AFC team, will be made Wednesday. The NFL announced in September that it would no longer play a conventional football game at the Pro Bowl, opting instead for a re-branded series of events that will include multiple skill competitions in addition to flag football. The previous format, which dated back to 1951, had been under scrutiny for more than a decade as players grew increasingly reluctant to subject themselves to the physical pounding that occurs during standard games.

NFL 'Sunday Ticket' headed to YouTube for 2023 season
The NFL announced a multiyear agreement on Thursday for Google to distribute the league's "Sunday Ticket" package of out-of-market Sunday afternoon games on YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels. The seven-year deal is worth a little more than $2 billion per season. The package has been on DirecTV since 1994. The satellite provider has paid $1.5 billion per year on an eight-year contract that expires at the end of this season. It is the second time in less than two years the NFL has partnered with a streaming service to air games. The league's 11-year contract with Amazon Prime Video for Thursday night games started this season.
