I'm so sorry.
If I sent you a link today I hope you did not click on it.
Unfortunately someone sent me a link that said
"Are these your pics?"
I trusted the source, but she didn't know she had it.
I clicked on it and downloaded something-and it immedietly sent it
to all of my contacts.
Don't click it!
I am running scans again-hopefully it will go away.
Thank you.
P.S. If anyone has any other information that is helpful, that would be greatly appreciated.

The same thing was being passed around AIM and myspace.

Get a good virus scanner, I found ours with AVG, Norton missed it completely.

Turn off your daily back up then scan again. It's there. or you may have to go back to the new saved date and start over. It's bitch to get rid of, but it's possible.

BTW AVG Virus has a free version that is good:)

What are your thoughts on Kaspersky? It found nothing on my computer, which I find strange. Thank you for your post.

I get AIMs like that all the time. It's obnoxious as fuck.

Hope you get it fixed, LC!

Never heard of it......I'm not a geek, just unlucky to have had teenagers on this comp.:)

Kaspersky is really good, but it really does lock down your shit - almost to an annoying level. If you use it, turn it on to scan an neutralize your threats and then turn it off.

I run Avira Antivir Personal Classic, it's free and highly rated.
