Boondocks saints

A life time after everyone else I watched this.
A decent flick.
Young Indy, Norman Reedua, green goblin and Billy Connolly shoot a whole bunch of bad guys.

What's not to like?
 
For your eyes only.
In a backlash against moonraker, this Bond movie has no gadgets, just Bond using his wits, and his gun.

It's like a prototype of the Craig era smack in the middle of the Moore era.
 
I saw "Joker : Folie a Deux" this past Saturday afternoon & found it to be VERY disappointing & lackluster :(

This utterly pointless sequel SHOULD'VE been titled "joker : folie a BLEW!"

"JOKER"(2019)'s the EPITOME of a movie that's a completely self contained & told story.

"JOKER"(2019) , like "Taxi Driver"(1976) is a movie that should have absolutely NO sequels , prequels , interquels or any other type of quel.

But unfortunately for us the utter craptacular "joker : folie a BLEW!" WAS made :(

I'm going to reserve judgment on Joker 2 until I see it, but I bet most of the haters hate the movie because it is a musical.
 
Most reviews I've seen seem to hate it because it's really boring, set entirely in a hospital and a court room, and has a stupid ending.

@Loktar , I didn't hate Joker 2 because it was a musical. I hated Joker 2 because it's a shitty flick & probable shameless cash grab :(

As far as the cash grab element is concerned , if that's why they made it it is now blowing up in their faces due to being a huge flop.

Was the first Joker movie good? Maybe I can avoid watching both movies and not add to my ever growing list of movie and TV shows I hope to watch one day.
 
It's ok at best.

The review channel heavy spoilers gave the best description of both films.

Two movies called the joker that don't feature batman, and as it turns out, don't feature the Joker.
 
It's What's Inside (2024) - Body-swap kind of horror/sci-fi movie on Netflix, where a bunch of old friends get together for a wedding and secrets are revealed while bodies swap. It's good! Lots of twists and it all hangs together for a very satisfying ending. I didn't see the final twist coming either so that was good. Excellent cinematography. Good-looking young cast too if that helps. WACKY RECOMMENDS.

I saw "Smile 2" & "Venom The Last Dance" yesterday at an AMC movie theater in my community.

"Smile 2" is a VERY dark disturbing ... yet intriguing ... horror/suspense flick.

I've NEVER seen the first "Smile" flick from 2022.

"Venom The Last Dance" was a nifty fun exciting adventurous romp Marvel comic book flick!

I've NEVER seen the first 2 Venom flicks.

Do I endorse these flicks for folks to go see them in the movie theater on a HUGE SCREEN?

ABSOLUTELY!
 
The last flick I saw in the theater was "Red One" last night on its Opening Night.

I didn't think it was half bad.

I'm not spoiling anything by saying the following at all , but , in my opinion , "Red One" definitely needed MORE campiness & comedy , comedic moments in it.

I'd rate it 6.5 to 7 out of 10.
 
The last flick I saw was "Wicked" on Opening Night , & it ... was ... well ... WICKED ;)

I didn't think "Wicked" was half bad.

"Wicked"'s a groovy enough flick!

"Wicked"'s a type of movie I'm not too used to seeing because such type flix aren't really my cup of tea.

All I can say is "Wicked" accomplished a certain basic thing to the movie what "Joker 2 : Electric Boogaloo" completely failed at.

I guess I'll rate "Wicked" 6.5 to 7 out of 10.
 
IF 2024

It's not a bad film, or even a boring film, it's just such an obvious twist that most people probably guessed it from the first trailer. A trailer that made this out to be a Ryan Reynolds film, when it's more some random girls film, that he plays second fiddle to.
 
I saw "Moana 2" Opening Day & found it to be an enjoyable cute cutesy adorable flick.

I know "Moana 2"'s target audience is youngsters , but that didn't stop me from seeing it.

I've never seen the first Moana flick.

Movies make more sense when you watch the first one before the second one.

The last flick I saw in the movie theater was "Gladiator II" this past Tuesday. I enjoyed it & thought it was a good flick & best seen on a movie theater screen like the first "Gladiator"(2000).

I'd rate "Gladiator II" 8 out of 10!
