Sir Elton John is celebrating his 77th birthday today, and Express.co.uk is taking a look back at the Rocket Man singer's tempestuous relationship with Prince Harry, whom he is said to have "blacklisted" from his latest Hollywood party.​

Sir Elton John has reached the age of 77 today and will be celebrating with his husband David Furnish, 61, and their loved ones. However, it is unlikely Prince Harry will be joining the Your Song hitmaker in any birthday festivities, as the pals reportedly went through a falling out recently.

The Duke of Sussex and Sir Elton had initially grown close due to the musician’s close friendship with the Royal’s late mother, Princess Diana. Elton famously performed an emotional rendition of Candle in the Wind at Diana's funeral in 1997.
