I just arrived in the suburbs, and apparently I've walked into a war zone. My sister and her daughter aren't talking, mostly because both of their husbands are stubborn asses. This means the grandchildren won't be coming over for Christmas Eve. My elderly aunt and uncle and their family also bailed on us, because they couldn't make the trip. And when my other sisters come over and find out about the fighting, they will stick their Irish noses into it and blow the situation up even worse.
On top of everything, my company is open today, so I am spending the afternoon at my laptop in my sister's home office while life goes on in other parts of the house. Maybe that's for the best for now...
Sigh. I'd say things will be better once we all have a few cocktails, but with our tempers it may cause World War III instead. Cross you fingers...fuck Santa LOL.

^^I'm sorry to hear all of that Eggs. My step-son left for his mom's thins morning, I've done nothing but cry but I find that if I pretend I'm happy, it helps. And whatever you do, stay out of it!! No sense in having anyone mad at you.
