I'm glad they told us all of John's backstory this early. Some shows would make us have flashbacks for YEARS.
 
I kind of hope the next episode isn't all Hal flashbacks though. I thought that's what they were setting up at the end of episode 2 when he visited Sinestro.
 
I wonder why the aliens don't know that fear is important, and that bravery or courage is what they were looking for.
 
 
Because his surname is "Pierre" I thought he was French lol.
 
This is more like it, Hal is a dick to cars.
 
1.4 - Jumping out of moving cars must be a lot of fun.

So the hot grandmother is the manhunter, but the manhunter doesn't actually seem to have done anything bad, so maybe it's just an unfortunate name. Maybe the other aliens are the real bad guys.

They still haven't flashed forward to Hal's "death" again so I'm predicting that we'll find out over the rest of the season that it was faked.
 
I wish I knew who the other aliens really are!
