It's just that the name of the board gives the impression that the people who post on it wouldn't be fazed by a heated argument or two.

Or perhaps a name like Bastard Factory where you think everyone is a bastard, or that being a bastard would be acceptable, but its not.

We're not phased by a heated argument, but when we don't see the need for it, we don't generally start shit until someone else does. Especially in the MF or on topic fora. Even then, someone comes along to diffuse the situation. Like, this thread.

From my perspective I have not seen nor been involved in any threads that were truly ill-natured. So I'm still not sure what it is that I have said or done to upset anyone.

I never post things designed to purposefully piss anyone off, and I hold no grudges against any of the people I've had internet arguments with. Why would I? I guess I just assumed that everyone here already knew not to take any of my insane ramblings seriously.

But just to reemphasize...I mean you no harm, I have strong opinions on a few topics, so do other people, we talk about them, most people don't care, and at the end of the day I'd still be happy to have a beer with any of you regardless of what insults we might have exchanged. But if I do end up hurting anyones feelings then I apologize, as that was never my intent. I'm not a big fan of smiley's, so you should all assume that I added several of this most disarming ones at the end of every post.

We just don't really troll each other. That's for the tards. If someone says something that's full of shit, call them on it.. but you don't have to do the troll act just because troll is in the name of the board. I always look at this place as somewhere I don't have to worry that something I say will offend some hyper sensitive mod.
