I was at an end of summer work party/meeting and I heard a small group of people talking aout the Little Mermaid and how they didn't like the new changes and one gal said, "Mom, you wouldn't like it".
I later inquired back at the office why they said that and they said, "Because it is too woke"

I am a failure for saying nothing. Also I feel sick to my stomach.

Just because a black person has a role in a movie it is woke. Or because a character is black its woke.
 
Woke is something people say when they can't be openly racist.
 
I was disapointed in them and I was disapointed in me, but also how am I going to have an arguement in the middle of a work event.
 
I wouldn't have done any good to have an argument about it.

When you get down to it people are pretty fucking stupid, and we have to deal with it.
 
I don't think you should feel bad. It's best not to get into such things at work.

So....some karma happened....and I felt bad but didn't feel bad for giggling about it.
