I was just thinking about the candy bar today. The chocolate, nougat, and caramel combo was absolutely perfect, easily one of the best self-contained candy bars I've ever seen. I wish they didn't discontinue it. I might have to break something.

I often find they weigh me down a bit, being quite stodgy. But they're quite moreish. Might explain our World Cup performance.

In the United States, a different confection bears the Mars bar name. Featuring nougat, caramel, and almonds coated in milk chocolate, the American Mars bar was relaunched in 2010 after being discontinued in 2002.

The US does have Milky Way bars, but for some reason they come in 50 varieties, excluding the original version we have here in the UK.
 
I believe we do (or did). I know I've seen it here at one time or another.
 
I miss the Old "Good Humor" Coconut Ice Cream Bars :(
