I was all up in her stuff dating back to White Nights and the first Prime Suspect. She also was quite interesting to watch in Caligula and The Thief, the Cook, His Wife and Her Lover.
 
I just remembered that ALL THE PRESS reported her character would die in the last ever Prime Suspect and then I watched the episode...and she didn't die or even come close to it. But I forgot to ask ALL THE PRESS why they got it so wrong. SO COME ON, TELL ME NOW, ALL THE PRESS.
 
All that press must have stayed in the UK; I don't remember reading that, and I seek out Prime Suspect news like the good Helen Hag I am...
