I doubt it.

My freaking mother-in-law used to use that all the time.

our older folks used to say "What's good for the goose is good for the gander" which is a variation. I may have used it a time or two.

Same here.

The only time I remember hearing it as "sauce for the goose" was in the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, so maybe it's a Southern thing too. It's probably in the book as well, but it's been so long since I've read it I couldn't say fo sho.

Did Saavik ever get annoyed that everyone kept calling her "Mr. Saavik"?

I have never heard anyone say "sauce for the goose" but I have heard the other saying about gooses and ganders. Maybe people used to say it but they don't anymore. WE SHOULD BRING IT BACK.

and THE BEE'S KNEES!

I'm going to use "sauce for the goose" once a day, every day, from now on...in the Mine Field.

I've never even heard of "sauce for the goose", yet alone used it.
