I just saw him announce he was stepping down as tech admin, next thing I know TrekBBS is gone.

I think he was tired at people saying the board was slow.

So the resident lunatic with the keys to the kingdom went nuts and effectively shut down the board?

See, my rule of BBSness #1 is "Hire a tech guy who knows what he's doing". ;)

Anthony did not have any idea what he was doing. He had about 2 or 3 tricks he could pull out every so often to convince people that he was competent at the job. When, however, anybody dared to question him, or point out that what he said had been broken for years worked only a year ago when Capps was running the whole thing, they were lucky enough to gain the attention of a shriek-filled hissy fit that most people grew out of at age 5.

I wish I could count the number of excuses he gave for the boards slowness that completely contradicted each other. When his contradictions were pointed out to him, he would throw his hands in the air, and annouce that we were more busy now then we EVER have been. You know, with the "No new trek" thing we have going on...

The man (?) is an idiot with an attitude problem. Dangerous Combo.
