Grandtheftcow banned from AQG for one week

I've been told on more than one occasion that I am "passive aggressive." Think I'll have to take some lessons from Kathy. She is dismissive and threatening in the same sentence!
 
We can close the barn door on the world should I ever become part of the A-Team on EI. Or would that be CU, DS and Cow?

AQG is generally meant for:

1. Questions from members to the staff.
2. Gripes from members to the staff.
3. Announcements made by the staff to the members.
4. Petitioning for a poll, or changes of some sort by staff or members.

In Appreciate's perspective, your announcement didn't belong in AQG, but the beach since you were addressing other board members in general. That's what the beach is all about. However, what bugs me is not so much the move (which was correct by the way), it was her tone in her post to you. She made you look bad. She made it sound like you are intentionally spamming AQG and she won't tolerate it. That's some serious overreacting if you ask me.

I am not liking the Admins taking the hardball approach to this. This sort of tactic makes things worse, not better. It will only divide the board even more, and really make a mess of things if they choose to keep it up.

If anyone should have been suspended, it should have been LotS. DS got taken out for punctuation, but it's okay for LotS to write F*ck, Sh*t, and whatever else. I like the logic (or lack therof).

This is saying a lot coming from me. Those that know me over in EI know I'd defend the staff to the end. But, only if they are being mistreated or are right. In this case, they are not.

Anyway, tis water under the bridge. Banapis apologised and I've accepted the apology.

And it isn't Banapis that should apologize, it's Appreciate who should step up and address her apology to you.
 
I've been there off and on for a couple of years. That litany in your earlier post may be an unwritten understanding; however, to create an actionable offense the rule needs to be in writing.

I agree Kathy should have been the one to apologise but I believe it fell on Banapis as he/she was the one on duty at the time. At least the issue was addressed timely and resolved as amicably as possible.
 
I have the highest respect for Gode. If he does something wrong, he'll try to make up for it. If he says something wrong, he'll apologize for it.

Banapis shouldn't do Appreciate's apologies for her. I'm not trying to be mean here, I'm just trying to point out that people have to take responsibilities for their own actions. I wish she would, and also lighten up on the power plays. Otherwise, EI will be losing a lot of members there because of the hostilities. I don't want to see that happen.
