Game Of Thrones season two CASTING NEWS

I strongly suspect we will see Margaery's breasts at some point (also, I've been pronouncing her name wrong ALL THESE YEARS.)
 
still no notice that the book is in...I was away yesterday but am going to the library today - I checked on-line and the other books in the series are all in...am tempted to skip ahead, but I GUESS I'll wait a bit longer. :rwmad:

Now you'll find out it's actually the second book and you can't read it because you haven't read the first. ;)

happily that did not need to transpire...which is good, as not only do all the librarians know my name, I'm friends with some of them.

have not had enough sleep and I have a 2 hour drive out of town ahead of me this morning. No matter. This first book in the series (hopefully the others are just as good) is nigh impossible to put down. The smells, sights, storylines are evocatively written but what's even more wonderful are the fully fleshed out characters. Even the vilest villian has some reason that explains some of the behaviour. No one [so far] is a charicature. Even the dire wolves have their own personalities. (Lady has already been murdered *sob* bastards!)

dunno how I missed this, but I'm really pleased to have at least now be reading it.

p.s. oddly this series is in the library under "science fiction".
 
Well there are time-travelling aliens in book two!
 
And a talking cabbage with mystical powers (but we don't see the powers used until book three).
 
This is good, right? i don't have premium cable, so I have to buy it off the iTunes. Tisi talks about it, so it's worth the thirty buck download for season one, right?
 
YES, totally worth it. It's also worth it to read the books! They've done a really good job staying true to the books, although not 100% (of course).
 
The cabbage will most likely be changed to a small indoor plant or shrub, in the interests of scene composition and actor eyelines, etc.
 
I WON'T STAND FOR THAT.
 
It's a really good tv show and worth watching.
