Unofficial: Quaithe and Lorren cast, director added - Winter-Is-Coming.net

Laura Pradelska is Quaithe. It says she's been in Doctor Who this year as "Greta" but maybe it's an episode that hasn't been on yet.

Forbes KB is Black Lorren. Yes, THE Black Lorren.

Oh and Oona Chaplin (Charlie's grandauther) is playing "Jeyne." Probably Jeyne Westerling as she's too old to be Jeyne Poole.

He wasn't quite that black in the books so of course there's the usual tedious arguments on forums.

No, he's a pretty minor character (like one or two scenes.) Surprised they put him in the show really.
 
There's an "interview" with Emilia Clarke conducted by Will Self. I assume it's the same Will Self we all know and love.

I say "interview" because he doesn't actually give any quotes from her. At all. I guess it's supposed to be funny. The picture is nice though!

There hasn't really been any casting news for a while even though several important characters are still to be cast.

Weird. It was like he was trying to make fun of those interviews that fawn over celebs and endlessly describe what they're wearing and stuff, but instead it made it sound like he thought she was too uninteresting and possibly thick to bother interviewing properly.

Anyway, hot pic and as ever with his articles, I learnt some new words.

Amory Lorch will be played by Fintan McKeown who played Janeway's holographic boyfriend on Voyager. But let's not hold that against him!

Looks like GREGOR has been recast as Ian Whyte. Conan Stevens is busy filiming The Hobbit and other stuff. As long as the new guy's the same size and has the same beard and can chop off a horse's head, no one will notice the difference.

"The night is dark and full of terrors" looks like the season two tagline, but I'm sure we'll still hear "winter is coming" plenty of times.
 
People were bitching about that teaser on some website I was looking at earlier. I'm sure they'll have a good one up before too long. :rwmad:

That's a damn shame...and good luck. He really is seven feet tall and scary-looking as hell. They could always play camera tricks with a shorter guy...although I guess he didn't have enough screen time in season 1 where his recasting will really stand out.

That reminds me --is ALL of the cast (those characters that didn't die, of course) back for Season 2? Everyone? Even my good buddy Chuckie Dance?
