Does it scare you how many years you've been alive?

It only scares me how few years I have left.
Wait, is that the same thing?
I don't think about how long I have been alive,
I have something else to do, I'll be back later

I sense a new batch of mid-life crisis for those people who are beginning to think their day in the sun is over, is that all there is, send in the clowns. It hits some in their late 30s, and some in their 40s but it comes to everyone eventually. All those things you were going to do when you grew up, all those things you can no longer do, or that are tougher to do. Signs of ageing, things sagging, wrinkles blossoming, and time so fleet of foot as to resemble time-lapse movies. And when did it become a challenge to pick things up off the floor, or even to get on the floor and then get back up. You don't so much bound out of bed each morning, you hobble slowly trying to limber up joints. You decide to become careful. And when did going down stairs become such a death defying challenge? And when did your eyesight begin to get wonky on you? Naps anyone?
