Daredevil

I finished Daredevil last night. I'm glad Matt finally told Karen the truth. Also, I like Karen the intrepid reporter. I guess Electra will have no choice but to be Black Sky now. MAYBE SHE WILL RESIST, even tho she is dead. Or kinda dead? WHATEVER.

I guess I should see about watching Iron Fist. Tomtrek tells me it's probably the worst of all these series, but The Defenders comes after it and maybe I need to know what happens first. :rwmad:
 
Wilson Fisk is a great villain, so this should be interesting!

Is Helo the fake Daredevil? IT LOOKS LIKE HIS JAW, and I'm not looking it up. OK :rwmad:
 
Mathew is so annoying. Why are all the superheroes annoying? The neti pot scene was GROSS. I like the nun.
 
Thoughts on the first six episodes, mild spoilers.

It does start off a bit slow with Matt talking about religion and stuff (but I think Charlie Cox is a good actor and manages to make Matt not too whiney in those scenes) but it all builds up nicely. Fisk is still great, magnetic whenever he's on screen. Not sure why the FBI agent is getting so much screentime unless he's going to turn out to be Stilt-Man or something. The action scenes are really escalating in quality too: the parking lot scene was fun but the whole extended one take (I'm sure it wasn't really done in one take but they made it look convincing) fight in episode four was excellent, the best action scene any of the shows in this Netflix universe have done. Bullseye's first major scene at the end of episode six was great too. So yeah it's a strong first half to the season once you get over all the scenes of Matt bleeding and stuff.
 
I've watched 1-3 now.

Fisk is a great villain. He's so weird and menacing.

MATHEW IS AN ASSHOLE. Foggy better tell Karen he's alive.

I'm glad Foggy didn't lie or keep the secret from Karen.

How the fuck does Fisk still control the prison? Like he has a cellphone and video feed? That doesn't make sense.

The prison fight scene!! holy shit that was intense.

Foggy the politician, I guess he's never getting his fluffy hair back :(

Poindexter is gonna be evil, isn't he? :rwmad:

Did Matt not think the police would be looking for him after the prison thing? I know Fisk is setting him up, but his face was on all kinds of cameras and shit. grr

I can tell already that Jasper is gonna die. I bet the FBI kills him and Fisk doesn't even have to get involved. I THINK IT'S ABOUT TO HAPPEN. Oh this is where they set up Daredevil as the bad guy. Matt's getting his ass kicked AGAIN. :rwmad: IT WAS DAREDEVIL.

They need the Punisher to come rescue them.
