It's not the money, it's just me procrastinating. Although I did have to replace my frames last year, and the only pair in the shop that fit my existing lenses cost $400. I nearly slapped the woman behind the counter.

Contacts aren't as much, although I wonder if I'll have to get a special kind now for astigmatisms or whatnot. Who knows what all this LCD-staring has done to my peepers...

Ouch. cost me $12 for 2 frames last time I got them 4 years ago. But that was when I worked six months for NYS and had a good vision plan. I need to get a good job with a good vision plan again before I get an eye exam and new frames.
