I want to smell dark matter
I remember the series with Dirk Benedict, where he was shoved in there with a load of horrible British people (and H from Steps.) Even leaving aside the racism the girls were truly foul and I remember at one point Dirk sadly asking "is this what all young girls in the UK are like?" After watching tonight's final and Bit On The Side, sadly the answer to his question seems to be "yes". At least when it comes to Big Brother. Just look at the eviction crowds (if your eyes don't start bleeding)...
They utterly vilify the twins while at the same time acting in far more appalling way than Kristina and Karissa ever did. They celebrate a drunke old witch getting her "boobies" out and harrassing a man who just wants to be left alone while at the same time sneering at any young girl with nice breasts because they make them feel inferior. It was going this way on Channel 4 but it's even worse on Five (which we all feared would happen.)
And yet I'll still be back in the summer.
