[About three years ago she asked for me to paint "anything with rocks". Took me long enough!]

This Sunday, the 16th. And England is much more civilized than us and has POSTAL DELIVERY on SATURDAY!! so I know she'll get it in plenty of time.

You dont get post on a saturday?

nope. pisses me off. I'm pretty sure they have it on Saturdays in the Netherlands as well, as I think Santaman emailed me he'd got his xmas card on that day one year. So why can't two rich countries like Canada and the US have Saturday delivery? hmm?

no, the Post Office isn't open. If I had stamps at home, I could mail a regular-sized letter in one of the mail boxes around town, but that's it. To mail over-sized documents, parcels, or things overseas, they have to be weighed and measured at the PO. Mon - Fri.

That sucks, we've always been able to post on saturdays, and thanks to one supermarket in town, we can post on sundays too, if you dont mind a long queue.
