Well, if we're counting BOTDF then it would technically be 8IGHT.

BUT IT WAS A REMIX ALBUM SO WE'RE NOT.
 
Well HIStory was a greatest hits package so it could even be 6IX. :shock:
 
HIStory was two discs. One was a full album of original material and the other was the remastered hits so it definitley counts.
 
I still wonder why he did that. Why not release the new material on its own and then do a proper box set later on?
 
Originally there was going to be a project called Decade that was to be released with the remastered tracks but it ended up getting merged with his studio album a year later into HIStory - Past, Present and Future as the double album.

I still consider HIStory to be his edgiest work and some of his most innovative. Considering he performed most of the instrumentals on the album as well as the usual producing, writing and obviously performing of every track. Some people consider it to be too angry and in some respects it is but as usual it's completley different in style from his earlier works. Great album!
 
As for his new album that is from reports over half done.. I'm liking the title 7EVEN. From what I've heard that's not only the working title but it sounds like it's going to stick and be the actual album name. Release is slated for September or Novemeber.

Oddly enough, I have the video that uses that version, but not the song itself.

The remix I have/love uses a sample from Sly & the Family Stone's "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)"

So what's the deal with eSnips? They're not going to take down your MJ stuff for copyright infringement? The TOS says they will...
