To this day I still haven't watched Romeo + Juliet start to finish, but I've played its soundtrack countless times.

 
Adult Swim didn't premiere until September 2001, but the shows that would form its core identity launched in the 90s...

Do you guys remember Heaven's Gate? And they were all wearing Nikes and thought they were going to be picked up by a spaceship traveling behind Hale-Bopp?

I'm not really nostalgic for this or anything, but it was just a strange thing that happened in the 90s.
 
Cults were big back then.
 
I think they're bigger than ever right now. And yeah, of course I remember Heavens Gate. It's a seriously disturbing and frankly sad rabbit hole to go down.
 
Now, no 90's nostalgia thread would be worth its salt without the FIRST of my famous former next door neighbours

Frasier started in 1993. I had never watched Cheers before. I didn't understand half the things Frasier and Niles were talking about. BUT, for some reason, I loved Frasier and felt SOPHISTICATED watching it. I was 12.

I remember having to choose between watching Frasier or Charmed. Lucky for me they re-ran Charmed in the summer.

Apparently they're doing a new "Baywatch." From the article, I learned the original was on from 1989-2001. So "Baywatch" basically IS the '90s. "Seinfeld" is 1989-1998, which is a lot more 1990s than I realized, but still not "Baywatch". "FRIENDS" didn't start until 1994. Interestingly, while I pegged "Barney & Friends" as '90s, and it did start in 1992, it ran until 2010, so technically it is more 2000s, but Barney's heyday was really the early 1990s.
