After much procrastination, then gnashing of teeth and pulling of hair, Troll Kingdom is now upgraded to the latest dev build of Xenforo. This is mostly a host of under the hood improvements, from security holes being patched to performance gains. There is some new functionality as well, and I will be testing a few plugins out to further enhance the user experience over the coming weeks.
Note to future self: Do not let your three kittens in the room you are working in while doing critical upgrades because they WILL attack your Wi-Fi antenna and take you offline mid-upgrade. It's the law.
Kitten terrorism and unexpected power cuts aside, we should be in a stable state and some of the more annoying bugs people were experiencing should be fixed. Like with any upgrade though, there are usually some unforeseen issues, especially with a bespoke installation like TK that has years and years of little custom tweaks and spaghettification going on in the back end. So, as always, you can use this thread to report any oddities (bugs, not members) you experience:

I've noticed that the notification bell doesn't show any alerts until I hit the What's New tab. Then it shows. Most of the time. Not always. Not a major issue that would make me rage quit. Just something I keep noticing.
