Strange New Worlds season 2

Unless I'm mistaken I've been watching star trek longer than you. When there was no next gen and star trek existed only in books I read most of them, I've read books on the making of trek , random shit like the enclopidiea ship manuals, then watched all the films and every episode of every show. I even have a writers guide because when TNG was airing I applied to write an episode.

I am by no means an expert on trek, but I am an expert on me, and one thing I know about me, is I know when I like something and when I do not.

Says a guy whose first memories are the blinking lights on the bridge of the Enterprise via reruns seen from his fuckin' crib in 1975, 'cause he's been watching Trek literally from the cradle, the actual cradle.
 
I am now on my 300th straight DS9 rewatch. Kira just broke Odo's heart for the first time again, and he got rid of the belt. Since I am saturated with DS9 now there are certain eps that I skip. I skip most mirror universe ones, I skip some of the Quark and Mooooogie ones (but never The Magnificent Ferengi, or The House of Quark), I always skip Odo having goo sex with the founder, sometimes I skip Jadzia hanging out with the old Klingons.

I forgot what I was going to say. I'M NOT DELETING IT.

I always skip mirror universe nonsense.
 
I literally watch DS9 over and over because I don't have cable, and it's on at 10pm 6 nights a week. 10pm - 11pm is my tv time, and most over the air channels are true crime, fictional crime, ghost crime, westerns, ancient game show reruns, etc. Sometimes I feel like I just watched an episode yesterday and don't want to watch it again right now. Move Along Home is a fun episode, so I don't skip it very often. I love when Quark thinks the game is real.

I didn't skip any of the eps the first 20 or so times! lol
 
I would only do a full DS9 re-watch if it were remastered.

It's in my top tier alongside TOS and SNW (yes, SNW is now up there), but I have no desire to watch it again in the foreseeable future. Haven't watched an episode in ages.
 
DS9 was definitely a product of its time and it's still the best of the Berman era, I'd say. Once in awhile I will revisit an episode or five, but yeah, I'm not into the idea of a full rewatch either.
