Those were the peak Voyager-bashing days.
Wasn’t there also a Farscape version of TBBS Christian ran called SlipstreamBBS or something that a couple of TBBS staff were also on (including Lisa) and talked shit about TBBS posters.
I don’t remember if it was their version of the Briefing Room getting hacked or they were just talking shit on main but raids from TK, TNZ and other affiliated places had Christian pulling the plug soon after discovery IIRC.

It's hard to recall stuff from so long ago. I can't recall if I was still a mod or had got the permaban by then. I definitely remember someone else on TrekBBS staff egging me on at Slipstream though, heh. Barcode perhaps, or LizardLaugh?
I think the Slipstreamers got pissy with TrekBBS always bleeding over into their board and didn't like being the little brother / offshoot. Also, I think there were many who frequented TrekBBS who thought the show was garbage and weren't shy about popping over to the neighboring board to give their 2c, whereas many of Slipstream's most ardent fans had nothing to do with TrekBBS.

Well... damn, that's sad. When Wordforge was noticeably getting dumber and more insane, literally with each passing day, I hoped you'd be all right. And I had reason to hope, because you were putting up... well, at least a little resistance against it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that TK isn't vile and disreputable, too. But you wouldn't catch me defending it against that description...

Probably never happen. According to bix he got the IP from CeeJay when he first tried to register and now both the "Blackfoot" and the "CeeJay" names are blocked from registering along with any other attempt from that IP range.

Yeah, even Jammer pulled the plug on review it.
I remember Robert Hewlitt Wolfe released the series' bible before the show's release. It was incredibly detailed and sparked the imagination (or at least it did back then). I was jacked for the show. I don't think I lasted the pilot. As soon as Sorbo descended that several kilometer fireman's pole I thought 'uh-ohhhhhhhh'.
But it gave us Slipstream and there was much merriment to be had at their expense.

Does anyone here still post at TrekBBS? I know Wacky does. I logged out a few months back after telling a certain mod what I thought of them and haven't been back.
A lot of them have been there too long - on staff that is. T'Bonz checked out years back and I don't blame her. I mean, TrekToday folded over a year ago; posters had to ask the news panel be taken down after sitting there out of date for over half a year.

I haven't posted there in 15 years or so and ditched my account a long time ago. Once in awhile I'll read in on the various upper level forums and it's all gatekeeping pedantic nonsense. While that can be humorous, it's also quite tiresome.
