A sampling of it from 2017 is as good as one from today. Well, better, if you think about it. It's like a snowball rolling down a mountain, only the snowball is shit.

The stronger the suck got, the harder they were able to push the non-suck out.

And that rolling shitball will only get bigger, dropping faster, until it finally splatters.
 
In the early 2000s I learned to build a strong and effective written argument by posting on WF. For the past 10 years I learned that a strong and effective written argument is wasted on some people. In unrelated news, 76% of Democrats think President Biden is doing a fine job.
 
Because of this thread I went over to check and it was working. I did read part of one thread and Tuckerfan was revealing how completely clueless he was about money and costs. He was claiming rich people got rich by "using other people" (Does he mean by giving them a job?), that some how they are a threat to him, and then he claimed he could buy a house with a few acres for $100k and retire with just $100,000 in savings. Just clueless.he even went on claiming he could have a private island with naked girls running around and retire with just $2 million.

The guy needs to talk to a financial adviser because he clearly doesn't have a clue.

Sadly, true. Which makes their desire to regulate and control things they obviously do not understand even more scary.

Oh, that's another part of it. Absolutely no grasp of the Law of Unintended Consequences. When your ideological purity is more important than objective reality, well . . .
 
I still don't believe the Consequences are Unintended.

There's an aphorism; I forget the name of it at the moment, but it goes: "Never ascribe to malice that which can be explained by stupidity."

But there's a counter to that: "Never excuse as stupidity that which can only be explained by malice."

We're supposed to follow the laws these people create on the expectation that they know what they're doing. They don't get to fuck us and then throw up their hands and cry ineptitude. If they really are inept, they should be bodily dragged out of their offices and prevented from re-entering. (Note: Should be. Won't be, of course.)

Tuckerfan is a smug know-it-all who thinks he's smarter than everyone else. It's always the billionaires who are at fault for everything, not personal failings. He's bitter at the world and apparently thinks socialism will solve everything.
