The tapeworms thing I had dimly read about long time ago (all those belles trying to fit into those wasp-waist corsets) but had never seen a poster for. gross. no wonder they were always needing smelling salts.
Wacky, I wonder if there is one...I'll do some research - i.e ask Neil - he knows tons about this type of collectable....the problem with the paper collectables of course is they're pretty fragile/ thus rare.
Oh, and to be more specific, these were magazine ads, not posters, sorry.
I think the fact that they were magazine ads and right in peoples' homes for the kiddies and everyone in the family to read makes it worse somehow.
I wonder if it's the same kind of Lysol I use in my grandma's laundry.. it smells kinda like Band-Aids. I can't stop thinking about those poor dumb woman squirting that up their cooches, I bet it burned a little.
