What would you do if you lived in constant pain?

With no chance of it getting better, only worse? Transfigure into a cat?
 
I'd become hopelessly addicted to pain pills.
 
what if the pain then became the mental anguish of living in a pain pill centric empty life!?
 
Then there'd be rehab, and withdrawals. Then the pain pill cycle starts over again.. till your liver fails and you die.
 
Oddly enough, over time your tolerance for pain & pain threshold increase over time or increase in relation to the pain. You don't know what is a "normal" pain threshold anymore.
 
But you still die. If only we could develop our pain threshold high enough so that death woudl have no effect!
 
I'd medicate till it didn't help anymore, then a swan dive into moving traffic.

So true, you still die. You can be in severe pain, not feel it & get run over by a bus and die. Maybe you wouldn't feel it though.

I'd jump out of a plane and forget to pull the rip cord. I presume splatting on the ground from thousands of feet in the air means more or less instant, full proof death. Although you do hear stories.
 
I'm agreeing with everyone so far. I would take a shit-ton of pain pills, go for a hike in the Sahara, and forget my water.
