I'm gonna watch the pilot and decide after that if I want to keep watching it. WHY DID THEY HAVE TO PUT IT OPPOSITE NCIS AND MY JETHRO LEROY GIBBS?

I was telling Wacky in the chat last night that I watched some of the original (I think it was on syfy, or spike.. I DON'T KNOW), Mark Singer was wearing the tightest pants I've ever seen on a man that weren't made of spandex. HE HAD MAN CAMEL TOE. Also the scene where the chick had the twins was so cheesy it was good, especially when the lizard baby looked at the camera and licked its lips.
 
the original series was good in its day, it had a whole lotta crazy that people hadn't seen before.

today's viewer is a little more saturated and jaded. hopefully they'll be able to blow our minds, but i'm not counting on it.
 
My biggest complaint is that this nuV, or V 2.0, is yet another reboot/reimagining/remake.

NO originality left on the Left Coast.

I'll still watch this V & give it a fair chance.

It might be horrible, mediocre or awesome.

Have to wait, watch & see.
 
Yeah, reboots never turn out to be good...I MEAN, LOOK AT BSG.

Anyone see the whole of nuV's pilot yet?

If so what did you think of V 2.0?
 
Just watched it. There was good stuff, but I did feel it was too rushed. We should have seen more of the initial reaction to the visitors showing up and more of what their "message" actually is before we saw people spreading the "message" and other people being scared of them...basically the "three weeks later" jump came way too fast.

The acting was pretty good and Elizabeth Mitchell is a good leading lady (and hot). Morena Baccarin was good too (and hot.) And it was clever of the V's to make all their fake humans hot (like Super-Girl...who was hot.) I'd join them.

I'll keep watching. Maybe THE NETWORK forced them to put EVERYTHING in the first episode to hook viewers.

THIS IS WHY WE NEED TWO HOUR PILOT EPISODES.
