Holy shit!! I visited that site out of curiousity! That thing is fucking dangerous. Your information becomes shared throughout the entire internet. Someone needs to take that thing down. It even shares proxy information. Damn.

1. Get a profile

By submitting an IP address or email, our clients can check if a potential poster to their website is on any current ban lists, the type of previous offences that may have occured (i.e. racist postings, harassment, threatening behaviour), and whether there is a potential threat associated with this person. Shared IP addresses and anonymizer services are clearly labelled as well. Our clients can then choose how they want to respond to a potential "troll" posting.

*sniffle* Goodbye freedom of speech!! It was nice knowing you. I am going to contact my ISP and demand to know if this is legal. It is not MY IP address that is being shared. It belongs to my ISP. Hmm. Most curious.

So trolls necessitate and Amber Alert-style gang-watch now? Is there a Trolling Patriot Act out there or something?

Jesus, it's not this place's fault if too many people can't take a joke...

You all do understand the way it works? If everyone uses it, you may NEVER be allowed to visit any site whatsoever because your IP becomes blacklisted. You would truly be 'exiled' from the internet. Damn. Excuse me. I gotta call my ISP.

ME

Species: Trollus
Sub-Species: Inyourfacus

The Trollus Inyourfacus derives immense personal enjoyment from harrassing others anonymously. Shunning the light of day, Inyourfacus will repeatedly change "profiles" in order to avoid being blocked from posting; at least part of their enjoyment seems to come from openly flaunting the rules.

Trollus Inyourfacus is generally the least dangerous Troll, but can be hard to get rid of, since your attempts to drive them away make them more persistant.

Well Congress is in the process of gutting the Net Neutrality act, so this kind of software could be standard practice at major sites. Along with an end to non-corporate-edited blogging and the freedom to set up your website/server on any provider you choose. But hey, we'll still get real-time weather updates...

Canada would never allow that. It had fucking better not or I will round up my fellow fascists and start a revolution. As Canada has never experienced a revolution of any kind, they will not know how to stop it. I will then place myself at the head of our new fascist government once the revolution is won. The invasion of the USA would be my next order of business.

:D

The Trollus Criminalus sometimes can be found in company with herds of Trollus Detestatus or Spamitus, but should not be confused with either.

Best known for soliciting criminal behavior, or attempting to obtain information from others for nefarious reasons, the Trollus Criminalus should be carefully handled if detected. Information on the activities of this kind of Troll should be immediately sent to the appropriate Troll hunting authorities.

:D :D :D
