The music in Bladerunner

The Love Theme by Vangelis.

Makes me want to cry (tears in the rain) and watch it again.

Vangelis is a bit shit normally, or maybe I just grew up in the 80's and heard too much.

As much as I identify this music with blade runner, I also identify it with an advert for cheese, which I hope exists somewhere on youtube, so it dosnt look like its a fevered invention of my latest drink absynthe with jagermister.

Maybe you are right about Vangelis Tomtrek, I just think that as I liked Roland Rat in the 80's then all my taste was crap.

I miss the 80s.

Sure at the time for me personally it was monumentally crappy, but damn, it had good music, the A team, Knight rider, women in spandex.

Oh well, I guess nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

I love Vangelis's music used in Cosmos and of course Bladerunner, although some of the Cosmos stuff sounds like it's about to go into the Chariots of Fire music, which he also did, and I find that a bit annoying.

I was actually just about to put on the Bladerunner score while I read a book.
