We were the first family in our neighborhood with multi channel cable, Falcon Cable, (We had "ON TV" for years) and to this day I remember the very first video I ever saw on MTV. The cable guy lit up our television with that beautiful network and Billy Idol's Rebel Yell was playing...It was glorious. Now "MTV" needs to take the "M" away and replace it with a "C" for CRAP!

Ahh, high school and college in the 80's. Reaganomics, end of the Cold war and New Wave. Gives me chills. First MTV video I ever saw was U2's New Year's Day in late 82. Big hair, leg warmers, Footloose, Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Stripes. John Hughes movies. Pat Benatar wannabes. Madona wannabes. LA Law and Thirtysomething. I love the 80's.
